I don't recognize a charge from GPT Workspace

GPT Workspace charges appear on bank statements as WWW.GPT.SPACE or GPT Workspace, and the receipts and payment reminders are sent by our payment processor, Stripe, from an address ending in @stripe.com.

GPT Workspace is not ChatGPT and is not affiliated with OpenAI. A ChatGPT subscription is billed by OpenAI; if the charge you see comes from us, it is for a GPT Workspace plan, a top-up or pay per usage. See Is GPT Workspace part of ChatGPT?.

A subscription is always attached to one Google account, the one that was signed in when the plan was bought. If you or a colleague use several addresses:

  1. Search every mailbox for an email from Stripe or from contact@gpt.space with the subject “Your GPT Workspace receipt” or “Welcome to GPT Workspace”. It names the account.
  2. Sign in to gpt.space/app/settings/subscription with each Google account. The page shows the plan of the account you are signed in with; a Free plan means the subscription is on another address.
  3. Still nothing? Write to contact@gpt.space with the date, the amount and the last four digits of the card. We find the subscription on our side and tell you which email it belongs to.

The subscription page shows the plan and the email of the account

  • A colleague subscribed with a company card. The subscription is on their Google account. They can cancel it from their subscription page, or you can send us the card details above and we cancel it.
  • “I only clicked on free credits.” The free plan never charges a card. A charge means a plan was bought on the pricing page or that a yearly or monthly plan renewed. The renewal date is shown on the subscription page before each payment.
  • A yearly plan instead of a monthly one. The pricing page shows monthly and yearly prices on two tabs; the yearly price is charged once for twelve months. See Cancel and refunds for the switch-to-monthly option.
  • Several “payment unsuccessful” emails. The card of an active subscription could not be charged at renewal. See Payment failed or declined to update the card or stop the reminders.
  • The amount or the currency is not ours. We charge in the currency displayed on the pricing page at checkout, through Stripe. If the merchant name, the currency or the amounts do not match anything above, the charge may come from another service: check the merchant name on the statement and your Google account connections.

Cancel from the subscription page, see Cancel and refunds. A cancellation within 30 days of a purchase with little usage qualifies for a full refund; we never ask you to dispute the charge with your bank first, writing to us is faster.
