How to launch the GPT Gmail and GPT Drive add-on

In Gmail and Google Drive, the add-on is not in an Extensions menu: it lives in the side panel on the right of the page, with Google’s own Calendar and Tasks icons. Click the GPT Workspace logo there.

  • In Gmail, open an email first to get the reply card, or click Compose and the GPT Workspace icon in the compose toolbar to write a new email. See GPT for Gmail.
  • In Drive, select a file first to summarize it or run a prompt on it. See GPT for Google Drive.

If the panel is collapsed, click the small arrow at the bottom-right of the page to show it. If the logo is missing, the add-on is not installed for this account: install it from the Marketplace.
